Team construction in the 2-3’s…

A group of children created a construction game outside in the 2-3’s concrete area on Wednesday. Our friends lined up wooden blocks, blankets and carpet squares along the concrete slope. 

The group worked together to achieve goals however individual children changed strategies to enable personal play goals to be achieved. Our friends communicated with one another for up to an hour, needing little adult support. They used the carpet squares and hoops to jump and made houses out of wooden blocks.
